Donovan came up to me and said, "Mom, you know what I like better than playing games?"

I searched my thoughts, "Hmmm, playing with your toys?"

Donovan: "No, going to church." "I really like being at church."

wow.

that was completely unexpected. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth getting him there.

Whoda thunk it??

Just another reminder of how true the gospel of Jesus Christ is and how close children are to our Savior. They feel the spirit just as strong as we do and they even recognize it. That in itself helps me to know I am doing the right thing and strengthens my testimony.

he was very happy with all the new accessories for his electric guitar.

a new amp, cables, picks and padded gig bag.

can't believe he's heading to high school in a couple weeks.
